Marshall Pomeroy Elementary School’s PTA hosted the fifth annual multicultural festival and carnival at the campus on Saturday. Around 400 community members attended the festival and carnival at 1505 Esceula Parkway, which included cultural performances from around the globe, carnival games, food and local vendors. Wendy Sun, festival chairperson, said highlights included having the attendance of the Milpitas Fire Department with a fire engine, the Milpitas Public Library with the bookmobile and the San Jose Sharks entertainment team with an inflatable hockey slap shot for kids to test out their hockey skills.
